Real Estate. Built on Experience.
Residential, investment properties, and land in Southwest Montana.
Real estate with a builder's perspective. I see what a property is, and what it could become.

01. About
Real Estate, With a Builder's Perspective.
I'm Bill Chopp, a Montana real estate professional serving Bozeman and Southwest Montana. I spent my career as a general contractor managing large infrastructure programs around the region. In recent years I've turned my focus toward residential construction, working alongside local general contractors to build homes throughout the Gallatin Valley. I've learned the residential side from the inside: how a site gets prepared, how a house goes together, and where projects actually get expensive. That combination is what I bring to clients: a practical read on how a property is built, what's underneath, and what it could become, along with a degree in finance from the University of Minnesota that shapes how I read the numbers. I look past the asking price at what a property really costs to own, improve, or build, so I can tell you when buying makes more sense and when building gives you more for your money. Whether you're buying a home, evaluating land, or exploring investment opportunities, I bring a contractor's eye and a financial read to the process.

Life in the valley
I'm not just selling here. I live here.
I came to real estate to be more useful to my neighbors, to the people who actually live in the community I chose to raise a family in.
A lot of agents can open a door and talk about square footage. Fewer have skied here and raised a family here for over a decade. That lived experience shapes how I help clients. Not just what's on the market, but what it's actually like to live in a place.
Over a decade in Bozeman
Not a recent transplant. I've lived and worked in the valley long enough to know how it has changed and where it's going.
Bridger & Big Sky pass holder
You'll find me at Bridger Bowl on a powder day and at Big Sky most winter weekends. I ski both mountains and know the commute to each.
Golf when the season allows
I play the local courses whenever I can. If you're curious about the golf communities around Bozeman, I've spent time on most of them.
Raising a family here
My wife works in town and our kids are growing up here. The schools, the trails, the community. We live it every day, not just at closing.
